I hear the *beep *beep *beep of the lift from my office. I know someone is going up. It is, after-all, a beautiful day and quite an impressive mock-up.
So, I give up email for a few minutes to snap some photos.

Beautiful weather makes for beautiful pictures of windows and people up really high. No thank you. I’ll just take photos of the crazies.
I love the reflection of the clouds.

Just hired an office assistant. So so so so so so thankful she starts tomorrow.

Thankful for blue skies and another day. Hooray for warm{er} weather.

A Change

Hair=way short. Below is the only picture I have of the new do at the moment.

Yes I am in mid squat. I just kept smiling–a 7 year old was taking my picture.

I think I’m starting to like it. There is NO pony tail in any near future, which is weird, but I’m starting to get over it. Maybe learning to get over the athlete disease (“my hair always has to be up”) is a good thing.

It has, for sure, been a huge change for me. I’m not picky about my hair and I really am not concerned with what I look like, so it hasn’t been a huge problem. Was just a HUGE change. The way I style it looks TOTALLY different than the way it was styled at the salon. In the picture it’s touching my shoulders because I’m leaning over–but it really is way above my shoulders.

So, there’s my recent change.

Today has been a much needed relaxing day. Hope your Sunday was great.

Why is that?! Because hopefully this disease that has taken over Aperture will be GONE! Today!

That is my enthusiasm because it would be oh-so-lovely to have my program back and actually be able to read normal images on my computer. And because I’ll finally have a few hours to do what I need to do to make the disease go away–forever!

Corporate finance midterm over. Woo hoo!

Honesty

If I was to paint a picture in my head, it would look like this: fall leaves, rolling hills, small stream, small log cabin with a huge front porch, a swing, fire coming out of the chimney….ok ok ok [one can wish]. No really though–right now, I have the perfect picture in my head. And one day I’ll be able to describe it. It’s perfect because it’s not perfect. It’s perfect because it involves people I love. It’s perfect because it’s simple. Trying to explain it to you would be crazy. So mayyyyyybe it does involve a cabin in the hills? kidding.

So, there. Today, my picture of the day is in my head. Where are you at in your head?

Also. I chopped all my hair off. That is all. More on that later.

Bring on Friday (jeans and chucks) and my mid term being OVER. Thank you, Laura, for the reminder that God is so much bigger than any midterm.

A card from a sweet friend

Brought much joy to my day Thanks, Danielle. The card is so me. and the sweet note inside is written in purple ink. She knows me!

Have a glass of chai tea (yum) and ready to finish studying for the night. Yea!

My day: Work (which involved many meetings and Cheesecake Factory), Publix (ice cream was on sale), home to put ice cream in freezer, church for dinner with John & Co, home to study. Took a study break and watched Parenthood from last night. It is funny and sad all at the same time. Great portrayal of a true family dynamic and getting through the mess in life. I even managed to study WHILE I was watching. How’s that for productivity?
